We measure what we improve

Here is where our sustainability program stands today — specific, measured figures rather than a general statement of concern.

112,000

kWh of on-site solar generation offset annually at our production floor

−27%

Freshwater use per unit since 2021, via closed-loop cooling on blow molding

94%

Manufacturing scrap diverted from landfill through in-house regrind

Case study

A skincare tube rebuilt to 51% recycled content

A health & beauty brand asked us to lower the footprint of a high-volume cream tube without changing its shelf presence. We re-specified the sleeve to a co-extruded structure carrying 51% PCR polyethylene, kept the barrier layer intact for a 24-month shelf life, and qualified the new material on the existing tooling.

  • 51% post-consumer recycled resin in the tube body
  • 18% lower carbon per unit versus the prior virgin structure
  • Passed full compatibility and drop testing before production release

FAQ

Sustainability questions, answered

Can E2Global match my current package with recycled material? +
In most cases, yes. E2Global qualifies PCR and bio-based resins against your existing barrier, compatibility, and shelf-life requirements, then validates on your tooling before any production run.
How does E2Global verify recycled-content claims? +
Every recycled-content structure ships with a material declaration and supplier certificates. For paperboard, FSC chain-of-custody documentation ties the fiber back to certified sources.
Do recycled materials cost more? +
It depends on resin markets and volume. PCR often carries a modest premium, but consolidated tooling, in-house regrind, and reduced scrap frequently offset it over a program's life.
Which products can incorporate sustainable materials? +
Tubes, bottles, closures, and retail boxes all have sustainable options today. Engineering & Custom Design can scope your specific pack.
